Knitted Mini Beanie | Free Knitting Pattern

Knitted mini beanies are so cute! This is a very quick project and these beanies make such fabulous christmas tree decorations.

Materials

Tools: 3,5 mm double pointed needles, a pompom machine* and a threading needle.
Yarns: Istex Lettlopi, Novita 7 veljestä*, Novita Isoveli, Lankava Minimop.

You can also use any yarn you like!

Knit Mini Beanie Pattern

Cast on 24 stitches (3,5 mm double pointed needles). Knit 1, purl 1 for 5 rounds. K1 for 7 rounds.

Decreasing: *Knit 2, knit 2 together (K2tog)*. Repeat * until the end of the round. *Knit 1, K2tog*. Repeat * until the end of the round. K2tog for one round. Weave yarn through stitches, pull tight and weave in the ends.

Make a cotton or wool pompom with a pompom machine and attach it to the beanie. Pompoms in these photos are made from Lankava Minimop cotton yarn. You can also use any other yarns!
