How to Crochet a Water Bottle Holder? See instructions!
The crochet water bottle holder is crocheted using two different yarns: raffia yarn and a macrame cord as a cord yarn to make the crochet bag a bit more durable and stronger.
Chain 19 using raffia yarn. From now on, crochet around Paulina Chunky Twine yarn. Leave ~5 cm long tail before crocheting and tie it. Insert a single crochet (sc) to the second chain from the hook and continue crocheting scs until the first chain. At this point, there are 18 scs crocheted. Insert two more scs to this chain so that you can continue inserting scs to the other side of the chain. Insert 16 scs and again in the last chain, insert two more scs to the same chain. In the round, there is a total of 38 stitches. Start the next round.
Insert single crochet stitches for 17 rounds. Cut the cord yarn before starting the bag handle rounds and tie it.
Bag handle round 1: insert 5 single crochet stitches. Crochet the first handle by chaining 25 and joining it with a sc stitch to the bag edge. Under the handle, there are 9 skipped stitches. Insert 10 single crochet stitches and crochet the second handle by chaining 25 and joining it with a sc stitch to the bag edge (the same amount of skipped stitches as under the first handle). Insert 5 single crochet stitches and start the bag handle round 2.
Bag handle round 2: This round is crocheted inserting slip stitches along the edges and handles. Cut the yarn and weave in ends.
There you go, enjoy your crochet water bottle holder!
